Welcome to Sev

Sev is the main energy supplier in the Faroe Islands. Situated in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean the Faroese live in co-existence with nature.

As the main supplier of energy Sev has faced the challenge of sustainable energy. Combining hydropower, wind power, solar power and biomass to make up approximately 50% of the Faroese energy supply sustainable.

The overall goal is to achieve 100% sustainable electricity generation by 2030, and we are half way there.
